Ben Rawles is a British Composer, Producer and Songwriter. Drawn to music from a young age, he first honed his songwriting skills as a singer and guitarist. At the age of 17, Ben had been signed and released his debut album of original music which was played on the radio across the country.
In the next three years, Ben honed his craft working under the award-winning electronic/experimental artist, Bibio (Stephen Wilkinson) at Stafford College, and earned the Triple Distinction in Music Production and Technology. He continued his studies in the North of England, where he studied film music and writing for the orchestra, as well as song production and sound design. Ben achieved a First-Class Honours Degree in Music Composition and Production at Leeds College of Music in 2014.
He has since established himself as a skilled and adaptive musician, working as the Lead Composer for children’s entertainment YouTube channel, Little Angel since its inception. The channel recently celebrated 1 million subscribers and more than 1 billion views channel-wide. During the same period, he produced an original orchestral soundtrack for award-winning fantasy video game Chessaria: The Tactical Adventure.
Working across a multitude of genres and platforms, Ben draws on his background as a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and computer musician to deliver an evocative musical voice, breathing life into the story and their characters.
